Lucille H. Jones

Bossier City, LA - Services celebrating the life of Lucille H. Jones, 90, will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend John Harp of Brookwood Baptist Church and Reverend Leon Boggs of Lakeside Methodist Church. Interment will follow on the grounds of Mt. Zion Cemetery in Montgomery, LA.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at the funeral home.

Lucille was born May 31, 1924 in Bryceland, LA and went to be with her Lord March 30, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. She loved playing cards, traveling, and attending church activities but most of all she cherished every minute she had spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded by her parents; 7 siblings; her husband, Malcolm W. Jones; and son, William "Billy" Gregory Jones. Left to cherish her precious memory are sons, Larry Jones, Charles Jones and wife, Pat Jones; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Honoring Lucille as pallbearers will be Kevin Cragar, Jared Jones, Mark Jaudon, Bryan Jones, and Stephen Jones.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Grace Home Hospice and Riverview Nursing Center for their compassionate care for Lucille.
