LUCILLE WHEELER

Lucille Myers Wheeler, 97, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Wheeler was born Aug. 29, 1907, in Roganville, Texas. She was a retired business owner and a member of Walnut Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reid Wheeler.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Billie Dub and Jack Wheeler of Franklin, Tenn.; four stepchildren, Bob and Ann Wheeler of Kingwood, Texas, and Anne Wheeler and Katherine Jennings of Houston; two grandchildren and their spouses, Catherine and Chuck Rhodes of Nashville, Tenn., and Whitney and Donita Wheeler of Sachse, Texas; four great-grandchildren; and a number of stepgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane, with John Cannon officiating. Private burial will be Monday.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Walnut Street Church of Christ or to a favorite charity.
