Funeral Rites For Teacher Here Sunday

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday in the Wellman Funeral chapel for Mrs. Lucille Womack Crain DeCrow, 44, teacher in the Barret school for the past four years, who died at the home of a son here at 12:40 a.m. Saturday following a lengthy illness.

The Rev. Ira Peak, pastor of Queensborough Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Chatham.

Mrs. DeCrow, who was born at Gaarsmills, had taught school for 12 years in Texas before coming to Shreveport. She was a member of the Queensborough Baptist church, and, before her illness, was active in all school organizations.

Surviving are two sons, Crosby Crain, Jr., and George Crain; one daughter, Mrs. Joan Crain Summers; and two granddaughters, Becky Crain and Aline Summers, all of Shreveport; her mother, Mrs. G. L. Womack, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Musick, both of Bossier City; and three brothers, Herbert Womack, of Chatham, Aubrey Womack, of West Monroe, and Tech. Sgt. Wilford Womack, of Lubbock, Texas.

Pallbearers will be A. C. Doyle, Charles Ravenna, W. L. Moore, Roscoe H. White, Robert Baird, J. H. Dncan, S. O. Lawtor, and J. D. Price.
