Mrs. Lucindy Dunn Succumbs, Buried In Gorhamtown

Mrs. Lucindy Dunn, 73, widow if the late C. S. Dunn, died at her home in Joyce Friday, January 17, after a few months illness. Funeral services were conducted at the Assembly of God Church, Joyce, on January 18, with burial following in the Gorhamtown Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Officiating at the services were Rev. E. D. Roach, Rev. Mrs. E. T. Gunter, and Rev. Kenneth Wall.

Pallbearers were J. A. Spangler, Herbert Spangler, Clarence Simon, Clarence Weatherford, Walter Miller, and Walter Lang.

A lifelong resident of Winn Parish, Mrs. Dunn was affiliated with the Joyce Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are five sons, Lee, Seldon, Sam, J. W., and Leroy Dunn, all of Winnfield; Mrs. Lillie Fredericks, Mrs. W. C. Grice, Mrs. W. P. Shows, all of Winnfield, and Mrs. Cas Shirley of Crane, Texas; 25 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Dan Roberts, Hudson Community; two brothers, Henry Jones of Joyce and Walter Jones of Texas.
