DIXON, LUCY

Died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1987, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 65, a native of Amite County, Miss., and resident of Baton Rouge.

Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel, 5 to 9 p.m. Friday. Visiting at Foster Road Baptist Church, 10 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Huey Moak. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Baker.

Survived by three daughters, Sharon Landrum, Mrs. Harry (Jimmie Lou) Pearson and Mrs. Bruce (Tommie Sue) Fontenot, all of Baton Rouge; a son, Jerry A. Dixon, Baton Rouge; four sisters, Beulah Morris, Epps, Nora Arnold, Gloster, Miss., Etta Whittington, Liberty, Miss., and Vera Forman, Baton Rouge; a brother, Howard Butler, Prairieville; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by parents, Pervis and Mattie Butler; and husband, Charles T. Dixon.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

She was a member of Foster Road Baptist Church.
