MRS. LUCY ARINDER

Mrs. Lucy Jane Arinder, 83, who had been a lifelong resident of Smith county, Lorena community, died at the home of her son, Clyde Arinder, September 13, after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Arinder was a member of the Lorena Baptist church.

Funeral services were conducted from the Lorena Baptist church September 14, with the Rev. D. W. Moulder, Baptist of Lorena, officiating, assisted by Rev. Richardson, Baptist of Clinton, and Rev. G. T. Henderson, Baptist of Lorena. Interment was in the Lorena cemetery.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Nora Stewart of Lorena, Mrs. Azie Bufkin of Homewood, Mrs. Cordie Hill, Lorena, Mrs. Beulah Vinzant, Lemon; three sons, Lonnie, Claude and Clyde Arinder of Lorena; one sister, Mrs. Amm Husband, Homewood; three brothers, Jim Hawkins, Hattiesburg, Richard Hawkins, Lorena, W. H. (Bud) Hawkins, Lorena, 51 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.

The active pallbearers were chosen from grandsons, and Ott and Lee Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
