Mrs. D. C. Kirkland

Funeral services for Mrs. D. C. Kirkland, 73, of 3033 Regent, who died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday at the Willis-Knighton Hospital following a brief illness, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel.

The Rev. Jack Merritt, pastor of the Ingleside Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Forest Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Kirkland, a native of Sikes, had lived here 55 years. She was a member of the Ingleside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Chester L. Kirkland of Fort Worth, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Alton Byrd of Shreveport and Mrs. Carl Brewster Jr. of Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. E. C. Murray of Shreveport; five brothers, R. C. Prince of Shreveport, E. E. Prince, J. C. Prince and Dr. K. C. Prince, all of Carthage, Tex., and Dr. B. E. Prince of Monroe, and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be B. J. King, E. W. Doubleday, W. E. Sanders, B. J. Harrell, T. H. Crout, C. C. Prince, B. O. Bazer and E. L. Boone.
