Rites Tuesday For Mrs. Lucy Marks

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy P. Marks, 75, of 600 Rochelle Ave., Monroe, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe.

The Dr. J. T. Horton will officiate with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brother's.

Mrs. Marks died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Marks of Monroe; one son, William E. Barber of Gulf Port [sic Gulfport], Miss.; one brother, Z. D. [sic Q. D.] Prestridge of Baton Rouge; one sister, Mrs. Judy [sic Julia] Neislar of Kansas City, Mo.; and one grandson.

Pallbearers will be Dub Cockerman, C. C. Wright, A. J. Douglas, Ernest Merridth [sic Meredith], Hiller Hesdorffer, J. L. Griggs, and David Turrentine.
