Christian Lady Dies Suddenly Of Heart Attack

Mrs. T. J. Fountain Dies Suddenly At Her Home Near Reynolds Early Friday Morning.

Taylor county lost one of its most beloved citizens Friday when the death angel visited the home of Mr. T. J. Fountain of Reynolds and took away the spirit of his beloved wife, Mrs. Lucyme [sic Lucyne] Daniel Fountain.

Mrs. Fountain died suddenly at 9.15 a.m., at the Fountain residence. Her death was attributed to a heart attack.

She was born on July 19, 1869 the daughter of Mr. James Daniel and Mrs. Mary Annette Barfield Daniel, members of two of Taylor county's most prominent families.

While in early life Mrs. Fountain united with the Reynolds Methodist church and lived a Christian life until she was called to her home in Heaven.

She was married to Mr. T. J. Fountain, in early womanhood. To this union were born five sons and three daughters all of whom are a credit to the communities in which they reside.

Funeral services were held at the Reynolds Methodist church Saturday morning at ten o'clock. The Rev. J. D. Smith, pastor of the church officiated. He was assisted by the Rev. W. C. Bryant, of Unadilla and the Rev. W. E. Hightower of Atapulgus. Interment was at Hill Crest cemetery.

Surviving Mrs. Fountain besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. L. M. Doyle [sic Doyel] of Butler, Mrs. R. E. Aultman and Mrs. Clinton Wood of Reynolds; and five sons, Dr. Jim, of Macon; Messrs Tom, Jr., of Butler, A. J. and John of Reynolds and Dan Fountain of Atlanta; also one sister Miss Eula Daniel of Butler, and ten grand-children.

Pallbearers were Messrs. A. J. Payne, Thurman Whatley, Warren Childs, James Childs, Bussy Childs and Edgar Whatley.

Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Goddard Funeral Home, Reynolds.
