LUKE S. WILLIAMS

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Queensborough Nazarene church for Luke S. Williams, 62, of 1523 Laurel street, who died at 11:55 a.m. Saturday at his home. He had been ill for some time.

Mr. Williams has been a resident of Shreveport about 35 years. He was a retired railroad man.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Lyda Jones Williams; two sons, Benton E. and John B. Williams; three daughters, Mrs. Travis Hill, Mrs. Douglas Parker and Mrs. Curry Boggs, all of Shreveport; his mother, Mrs. Mollie Dalton, Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. R. A. Barger, Memphis; one brother, Charlie P. Williams, San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. J. G. Rushing, pastor of the church, assisted by the Rev. C. K. McKay. Burial will be in Forest Park cemetery. Rose-Neath funeral home is in charge.
