Mrs. Lula Elizabeth Moore Martin, 93, a resident of Rick Hight Road in the Park Station Community, died Thursday, February 6, 2003 at Life Care Center.

Funeral services for Mrs. Martin will be conducted Saturday, February 8, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Jack White and Everett Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Haynes Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Newt and Ada McCord Moore and widow of Lexie Keith Martin. She was a retired inspector from Publix Shirt Factory. She was former co-owner and operator of the Park Station Grocery Store and member of the Smyrna Church of Christ.

She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy D. Martin of the Park Station Community and Linda Weaver of Columbia, a son, Billy K. (Mary) Martin Sr. of Columbia, one sister, Sue Moore (Ed) Lee of Lewisburg, four grandchildren, Brenda (Dr. Robert) McClure of Columbia, Melanie Weaver (Robert) Cothran of Columbia, Keith (Rose) Martin of Houston, Texas, and Jeff (Robin) Weaver of Columbia, four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth McClure, Shannon McClure, Justin Weaver, and Paul McClure; six nephews, Howard Moore, Benny Matthews, Tony Matthews, Vestal Moore, Jr., Larry Matthews, and Eddie Ray Lee; four nieces, Gladys Moore, Edna Moore, Vickie Lee Hill, and Virginia Miller. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lillie Mai Matthews; two brothers, Jessie S. Moore and Vestal N. Moore.

Active pallbearers will be Keith Martin, Robert Cothran, Jeff Weaver, R.E. Matthews, Dr. Robert McClure, and Edward Lee.

Honorary pallbearers will be Duane Hill, Jerry Park, John Park, Don Galbreath, Doug Miller, Herbert Davis, the men of Smyrna Church of Christ, and her nephews.
