Lula Fay Wilson Gressett
Lula Fay Wilson Gressett, age 94, of Mesquite, passed away Thursday evening, April 24, 2003. She was born December 1, 1908 in Waxahachie to Arthur and Bertha Mae (DeWitt) Wilson. She had been a resident of Mesquite for over 30 years and had worked as a nurse's aide at Big Town Nursing Home.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Mitchell Cockerham of Seattle, WA and Raymond E. Cockerham of Mesquite; two daughters, Maye Batchelor of Grand Saline and Joy Purifoy of Forney; 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 46 great great-grandchildren and 1 great- great great-grandchild; three sisters, Kate Radney of Mesquite, Addie Smith of Dallas and Betty Joiner of Blooming Grove.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P. M. Sunday, April 27, 2003 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mt. Peak Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 ? 8 P. M.
