Lula Dunn
September 28, 1916 - June 30, 2012

Funeral services will be held at 1PM, Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at The First Pentecostal Church in Jonesville, Louisiana for Lula Hardie Dunn, age 95 who went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Tri-Community Nursing Home in Palmetto, Louisiana.

Burial will be in Heard Cemetery in Manifest, La.

She was born on September 28, 1916 in Jonesville, La. She spent her entire adult life as a faithful and loving, Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother, Pastors Wife, Sister, Aunt and friend to everyone she met. The last years of her life she spent sharing laughs and love with the residents and staff of the nursing home.

Left to carry on her legacy of putting God first and loving all God's people are her only child, Rev. Marvin Dunn and his wife Sharron of Palmetto, La; Grandson, Rev. Timothy Joel Dunn of Farmington, NM. and his children, Cassandra, Joel and Jesse; her Granddaughter, Markay Dunn Reeves of Pineville, La and her Husband Byron and their daughter Tiger; two sisters, Eula Mae Elliot of Jena, La, and Stevie (Sis) Butts of Jonesville, La; and a Brother, Bobby Harris of Jonesville, La.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Rev. W.H. (Henry) Dunn, her parents, Steve Hardie and Lily Ford Hardie Harris and Stepfather, Ed Harris; one sister, Ida Hardie Masters; and four brothers, Claude, Norman, Tommy and Billy Hardie.

Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 10 AM until time of the service at 1PM.
