Mrs. W. R. Whatley, 78 Succumbed at Albany Thursday, August 20

Funeral services for Mrs. W. R. Whatley Sr., 78, who died Aug. 20 in Albany were conducted Saturday from the First Baptist church of that city.

Mrs. Whatley is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Annie Laura Powell and Mrs. Carolyn Little, Albany; three sons, R. P. Whatley, Dawson; A. A. Whatley and W. R. Whatley, Albany; a sister, Mrs. Annie Simmons, Reynolds, and two brothers, W. R. Long, Oglethorpe, and Hiram S. Long, Warrenton, Fla.
