Mrs. Silvey

Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Mae Silvey, 79, of Monroe, who died Thursday night at Shady Oaks Nursing Home after a long illness, will be at 1 p.m. today at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Littleton officiating.

Burial will be in Lone Cherry Cemetery near Alto.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Edna Odom of Monroe, Mrs. Maude Renfro of Haile, Mrs. Ida Rabey of Riodell, Calif., and Mrs. Nellie Telano of Monroe; two sisters, Ms. Ehtel [sic Ethel] Milby of Winnsboro and Mrs. Lillie Dukes of Natchez, Miss.; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tom Antie, Clifton Herlong, J. V. Moore, Louis Thomas, T. Finkbeiner and Hugh Middleton.
