Services for Mrs. Lurline Duckworth, age 74, of Epps, LA will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at New Hope Church of God Pioneer, LA with Rev. Bob Schelmmer officiating. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery Pioneer, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home- Rayville, LA.
Mrs. Duckworth was a member of Epps Baptist Church. She was preceeded in death by her parents William A. Motley and Eula Johns Motley, her son James Robert ``Bob'' Duckworth, and a sister Mary Trapp.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years J.T. ``Pete'' Duckworth of Epps, LA; sons: David Duckworth and his wife Marilyn of Epps, LA; Bill Duckworth and his wife Chris also of Epps; Brad Duckworth and his wife Laurie of Kingsport, TN, brother: Bill Motley of Ball, LA, sisters: Mona Burchfield of Bastrop, LA; Barbara O'Neal and Sue Mitchell, both of Ball, LA; grandsons: Jeff Duckworth and his wife April of West Monroe, LA; Lee Duckworth and his wife Kasey; Brian Duckworth and his wife Cindy; B.J. Duckworth all of Epps, LA; and Colton Duckworth of Kingsport, TN. granddaughters: Cassi Duckworth, Chelsea Duckworth both of Epps, LA and Charise Duckworth of Kingsport, TN. great grandsons: Tyler Duckworth and Cameron Duckworth both of Epps, LA; great granddaughters: Emily Duckworth and Jessica Stanfill Duckworth; and a host of friends and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Jack Clack, Walter Smith, Mike Hall, Ray Hale, Vince Hillman, Dwain Trapp, Jerry Duckworth, and Jerry David Duckworth.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Hope Church of God, 1426 LA Hwy 577 Pioneer, LA 71266.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until service time Tuesday at the church.
