Luther T. McCracken
Luther Thomas McCracken, 78, of Grenada, died Tuesday at Grenada Lake Medical Center.
Mr. McCracken was a retired knitter for Grenada Industries. He was a Gideon, a deacon for 12 years, an associate teacher for George Murphy Sunday School class and a member of First Baptist Church.
Mr. McCracken was also a World War II Army veteran.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Garner-Harper Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tim Williams officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellow Cemetery.
Mr. McCracken was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Linda Ann Grant Fuller.
He is survived by his wife, Fern Campbell McCracken of Grenada; a son, Barry Lynn McCracken of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Beverly Zippona [sic Zipponi] of Leland; a stepson, Charles A Grant of Grenada; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Garner-Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
