Mrs. Lydia Garr

FORT WORTH -- Funeral for Mrs. Lydia Margaret Gaar, 64, former Abilenian will be at 10:30 AM Friday at Meadowbrook Methodist Church in Ft. Worth with burial there in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs Garr died Wednesday in a Ft. Worth hospital.

A native of Homer, Louisiana, she and her husband lived several years in Abilene where he was employed by R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. They moved to Ft. Worth 22 years ago.

Survivors are her husband, John; a daughter, Mrs. Joe Goetz of Ft. Worth; a brother, Larkin R. Lay of Midland; a sister, Mrs. J. Hollis Brown of San Francisco, CA and two granddaughters.
