Mrs. Hardy Parker

Mrs. Hardy Parker, 48, resident of Winnsboro, was laid to rest Tuesday, following funeral services at the Crockett Point Baptist church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Larry Walker officiated.

Mrs. Parker, who died Sunday at a local hospital, leaves her husband, Hardy Parker of Winnsboro; four sons, Hardy M. of Anaheim, Calif., Ben Earl of Houston, Tex., Carl and Wayne, both of Winnsboro; eight daughters, Miss Leora Parker of Winnsboro, Mrs. W.T. Reynolds of Houston, Tex., Mrs. J. A. Ingram, Mrs. John P. Pierce, Miss Dorothy Parker, Miss Carolyn Parker and Miss Elizabeth Ann Parker, all of Winnsboro, and Miss Sarah Parker of Monroe; two brothers, J. G. Stewart of Colfax and F. M. Stewart of Vinton: two sisters, Mrs. Burton Flowers of Winnsboro and Mrs. Basil Cooper of Crescent City, Calif; and eight grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were D. J. Monroe, Curley Clark, Eddie Wiggins, Cary Marshall, W. I. Marshall and S. B. Caldwell.

Interment was in Harris cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral home of Winnsboro.
