Services for Mrs. Mable D. Huthnance will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2003, in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with Rev. Dan O'Connor officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville, under the direction of John Kramer & Son. Mable D. Huthnance, 84 , of Alexandria, died Friday, April 11, 2003, in Dubuis Hospital of Alexandria.
She was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and the Alexandria Association Of The Deaf. She was preceded in death by one son, Ronny Huthnance one brother, Herman Deshautel and her parents, Filmore and Harriet Deshautel.
Mable Huthnance is survived by her husband, Harry Huthnance of Alexandria, one daughter, Judith Rozier and her husband, John IV, of Alexandria, one son Alfred H. Huthnance and wife, Annie, of Alexandria, one sister, Letha Glissman of Tioga seven grandchildren, Kate, John, and Anna Rozier, Clay Henderson, Kelli, Christopher, and Casey Mudge and six great-grandchildren.
Friends are asked to call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Sunday at John Kramer & Son.
A Christian Wake service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. The family has requested memorials be sent to the American Lung Association of Louisiana, Inc., 2325 Severn Ave., Suite 8, Metairie, La., 70001.
