Mrs. Mable W. Cook
Services for Mrs. Mable Whitney Cook were held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Coax Baptist church, with the Rev. Walter Braswell officiating.
Interment followed in the Coax cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Cook died Sunday in a Monroe hospital.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Nora Bell Nugent and Mrs. Alice Nelson; three step-daughters, Mrs. R. L. McMurray, Mrs. Irene Johnson and Mrs. Ethel Banks; three sisters, Mrs. Lodie Givens, Mrs. Mae Cook and Mrs. Alice Goodman; three brothers, Jessie Whitney, Archie Whitney and Edward Whitney.
Pallbearers were Quinn Blount, Edward Brand, Mint Magee, Terall Ratcliff, T. J. Blound and Aaron Nelson.
