Hiway Crash Injury Fatal

Mack Doddridge, 52, Memphis, Tenn., died Monday night in a Laurel hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident Sunday night on Highway 84, east. Doddridge was a native of Clarke County and a former resident of Jones County. He was employed by a Towing Company in Memphis. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He had served in the Merchant Marine during World War II.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 10 a.m. from the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with burial in Shubuta Cemetery. The Rev. J. M. Foy will officiate.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Ruth Doddridge, Memphis; one daughter, Mrs. Amelia Aultman, Birmingham, Ala.; mother, Mrs. Maude Doddridge, Laurel; four step-sons, and three grandchildren.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
