M. H. Searcy Rites Set For Thursday
Funeral services for Mack Henry Searcy, 80, who died at the family residence at Puckett early Wednesday morning, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the New Prospect Methodist Church. Rev. E. E. Presley of Brandon and Rev. L. A. Winstead of Gallman will be in charge.
Mr. Searcy was a native of Rankin county but had lived at Puckett for the past 17 years. He was a member of the Methodist church.
He is survived by three sons J. C. and R. M. Searcy both of Puckett and L. Searcy of Magee; five daughters Mrs. G. C. Mize of Johns, Mrs. Marvin Gill, Mrs. H. Phelps, and Mrs. Carl Moore, all of Jackson, and Mrs. J. F. Mize of Puckett, one sister Mrs. J. Purvis of Jackson; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Pat Boone, C. H. Burnham, Cary Burnham, Clarence Burnham, Webb Hudson and Homer Hudson.
