Services Sunday For Mrs. Gaar

Mrs. Mae Gaar, 5543 Virginia Ave., a Shreveport resident for 35 years, died Friday at 6 a.m. at her home after a short illness. She was 68.

She was born in Ruston and lived in Homer before moving here. She was a member of the Morningside Methodist Church.

Mrs. Gaar is survived by three sons, Gleen [sic Glenn] Gaar of Shreveport; Blanchard Gaar of Salt Lake City, Utah, and John Gaar of Fort Worth, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley Kwasnik of Shreveport; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services conducted by the Rev. E. T. Drake, pastor of Morningside Methodist Church, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Rose Neath Chapel.

Burial will be in Centuries Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Lewis Brewer, Earl McInis, F. E. Smith, G. L. Lane, E. D. Nuttall and A. Garlington.
