Mrs. Mae Ople Hand

Funeral services for Mrs. Mae Ople Hand, 78, of 3082 E. Hedges Ave., a housewife, will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Central Baptist Church. Interment will be in Fresno Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hand will killed Thursday afternoon when she stepped into the street at North First Street and East Hedges Avenues and was struck by an automobile.

She was a native of Winnfield, La., and had lived in Fresno County 48 years.

She was a member of the Central Baptist Church and the Alamogordo, N.M., chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are her husband, John H. Hand, a retired maintenance man; two brothers, C. P. Sanders of Minden, La., and Lee Sanders of Hayford, Trinity County; and a sister, Mrs. Billie Brown of Healdsburg.

Lisle Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
