MRS. MAGGIE M. BLACK

JONESBORO (Special) -- Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Marie Black, 54, a native of Jackson Parish, were held in the Edmond's Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. today with the Rev. Elder Lelon Swanner officiating. Mrs. Black died at her home in Silsbee, Texas, Sunday night after a brief illness.

Interment was in Jonesboro Cemetery under direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Survivors are her husband, Gordie Black, Silsbee, Tex.; one brother, Elmer Cornett, Jonesboro; two sisters, Mrs. J. J. Kennedy, Jonesboro, and Mrs. M. F. Watkins, Shreveport.
