Maggie Branch

WEATHERFORD -- Maggie Branch, 83, a homemaker, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Baker Baptist Church, south of Weatherford.

Burial: Spring Creek Cemetery.

Maggie Red Branch was born April 14, 1918, in Winfield, La., to Jim Red and Louella Tullis Red. She married Harrel Lee Branch on May 11, 1935, in Rayville, La. They lived there until moving to Fort Worth in 1967. Maggie had resided in Weatherford for the past 20 years. She was a homemaker, loving mother and a member of Baker Baptist Church.

Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Harrel Branch, in June 2000.

Survivors: Sons, Lee Branch and wife, Jane, of McNeil, Ark., Donald Branch of DeBerry, Bobby Branch and wife, Diane, of Weatherford, Wayne Branch and wife, Dedie, of Fort Worth, Mickey Branch and wife, Janice, of Kilgore and Ronnie Branch and wife, Linda, of Weatherford; daughters, Nelwyn Tharpe of Weatherford and Dianne Middleton and husband, Donald Ray, of River Oaks; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Laverne Hutcheson of Magnolia, Ark., Jessie Daniells of Fort Worth and Dorothy Heady of Fort Worth.
