Mrs. [sic Miss] Maggie Whittington

Funeral services for Miss Maggie Whittington, age 93, of Columbia, Rt. 2, were held Thursday, June 2, 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Riser & Son with Dr. W. M. Causey & Rev. Gary Elmore officiating.

Burial followed in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Miss Whittington died Wednesday, June 1, at the Citizens Medical Center, after a long illness.

Survivors include: her sister, Mrs. Alice Nelson, Grayson, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were: Buddy Scott, Billy Whittington, Richard Whittington, Crafton May, Larry Nelson and Elbert Lee Pauley.
