*The 1900 census listed Carlton STOCKMAN (b. JAN 1894) as Malinda's son. Carlton was listed as her grandson in the 1910 census. His WWI draft registration indicated that his mother as living. It is likely that this reference was to Malinda, who presumably raised Carlton as her son.
