Manie Jeff Ezell

Manie Jeff Ezell, 93, passed away Friday, Nov. 19, 2010.

Graveside service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Jeff was born Aug. 19, 1917, in Alexandria, La. He was the oldest of four brothers. He grew up in Wink where he excelled in academics and football. Jeff became a flight instructor and joined the Army Air Corps to support the war effort and was a career officer for 26 years. After attending TCU, he obtained his doctorate at Southern School of Optometry.

Jeff was married for 38 years to Evelyn Ezell with whom he had a daughter, Lisa. Years later, he wed his second wife, Martha, and they remained married until she passed away in 2006. He spent his last years with his adoring daughter, Lisa.

Survivors: Daughter, Lisa; grandchildren, Jeff, Tyler and Ryan Mangus; nieces, Dee Fanelli and Candy Rust; and nephew, Jeff Ezell.
