Funeral Services Were Held Here Saturday Afternoon

Manton Lee, one of McComb's oldest citizens, died at Baton Rouge Friday night at the age of 82. Mr. Lee's death was the result of complications due to old age. Funeral services were held from the East McComb Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon for many years, Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock with the Rev. W. A. Gill officiating. He was buried at Hollywood.

The pallbearers were: Eugene Smith, Theo Holmes, J. S. Reeves, J. M. Patterson, L. A. Bailey and J. P. Clark.

He is survived by his wife, several children and a number of grandchildren.

Hartman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
