Mrs. Marcelene Ware Kyle
``My chains are gone I've been set free my God, my savior has ransomed me and like a flood his mercy reins, unending love, amazing grace.''
Marcelene W. Kyle, age 88, has been set free and went to be with her Lord on May 24, 2008. Mrs. Kyle had been living in Dallas since September, 2006. She was born in Freeny, MS on March 31, 1920. Throughout her lifetime she lived a season of her life with each of her surviving children.
Mrs. Kyle worked as a waitress at the Mayflower in Jackson, MS in her younger years, later as a seamstress making draperies for Gayfers and Office Supply. She was a gifted artist with her sewing crafts, hobbies and quilts. She made all her children quilts to treasure for many years to come. She was also a long and faithful member of Alta Woods Baptist Church.
She was truly the most wonderful loving mother possible. A strong independent woman that has taught all her children what it means to have unconditional love. Through all her sicknesses, pain and trials she never lost her love for laughter and zest for life. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved her. We all know that she will be waiting for us to join her.
Her survivors include: Daughter and Son-in-law -- Opal and Paul Yarbrough of Steele, MO; Daughter -- Margaret Ann Ray of Meridian, MS; Son -- Rick Kyle of Dallas, TX; and Daughter -- Carolyn Kyle of Byram, MS; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister -- O. C. Counts of Fort Worth, TX; Sister -- Dolla Mae Kelly of Summit, MS and Sister -- Wilma Brooks of Carthage, MS. along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
