Marcus E. Smith of Monroe, the former owner of Smith Blind & Awning Co., died Friday. The funeral is 4 p.m. today at Kilpatrick Funeral Home chapel on Lamy Lane, Monroe. Visitation is noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial is at Rehobeth Methodist Church, Carthage, Texas.
