Margaret Anna Miller
(October 7, 1949 - August 22, 2015)

Mrs. Margaret Anna Miller, age 65 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015.

Born Friday, October 07, 1949 in Winnfield, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her father, Amos Lemmons; mother, Evelyn C. Riffe Lemmons; and husband, Garland Miller.

Mrs. Miller was a member of The Family Church for 22 years and a member of Jordan Hill United Pentecostal Church for 13 years. She was a teacher at the Winnfield Kindergarten School for 30 years and served as a bookkeeper at Brewton's Hardware for 9 years. Mrs. Miller received her Bachelor's Degree from Louisiana Tech University and her Master's plus 30 from Northwestern State University.

She is survived by her daughter, Susie Miller of Winnfield, LA.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 24, 2015, at Southern Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at Southern Funeral Home, from 8:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Southern Funeral Home with the Reverends Brian Montgomery and Jack Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Old Union Cemetery, in Joyce.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Dennis Pardue, Jason Mixon, Tyler Mixon, Allen Roberts, Nolan Roberts, and Joseph Tinnerello.
