MARGARET E. “MARGIE” BROWN
Margaret E. “Margie” Brown, 48, died November 8, 1995, at her home after a long illness.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had lived in Jacksonville for 5 years and was a manager of Taxpayer Services for the Internal Revenue Service. Ms. Brown was a 10 year resident of Pensacola, where she graduated from the University of West Florida and taught school.
Survivors include her husband, Jan W. Brown; son, Timothy Jeff Vehnekamp; daughter, Wendy Vehnekamp; step-daughter, Casey Brown all of Jacksonville; sister, Georgiana Presnell and her husband, Dave of Pensacola; aunt, Margaret Bettencourtt of New Orleans, La.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 11, 1995, in All Saints Episcopal Church, Jacksonville with the Rev. John Riley officiating.
HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 4115 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Northeast Florida Hospice.
