Margaret K. Parker

NATCHITOCHES -- Services for Margaret K. “Maggie” Parker will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis with the Revs. Steve Miller and David Braquet officiating. Burial will be in Long Pine Cemetery, Bentley.

Mrs. Parker, 82, of Derry, died Tuesday, July 15, 1997, in Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

She was a native of Derry, member of Gorum Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Bernell Parker of Shreveport, George Wilson Parker of Tioga and Cecil R. Parker of Alexandria; seven daughters, Lillie Vee Parker Coutee and Bonnie Parker Champion both of Derry, Clara Mae Parker Myers of Florence, Ky., Ann Parker Spillman and Diane Parker Poche both of Natchitoches; Glenda Faye Parker Stiefel of San Antonio, Texas and Dimple L. Parker Clevinger of Troy, Ala.; one sister, Annie Paul of Decker, Mich.; two brothers, Thad Kerry of Derry and Thomas Kerry of Mora; 36 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Parker, Cecil Parker Jr., Jarred Middlebrooks, Damion Spillman, Kenny Coutee, Greg Myers, Yancy Spillman and Shannon Parker.

A Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. today until time of services Friday in the funeral home.
