McReynolds, Margaret Louise ``Lucy'' Robinson 94, died at St. Agnes Home in Kirkwood of natural causes on September 13, 2007. ``Lucy'' was born June 27, 1913 in Little Rock, AR; she came to St. Louis to work in 1935, and was a sixty-year resident of Webster Groves before moving to St. Agnes in 2002. That same year, she was preceded in death by her younger sister, Agnes Robinson Gervais, also of Webster Groves.

Lucy is survived by her husband of 67 years, Thomas J. McReynolds III; daughters Ann McReynolds (Max) Nall, Webster Groves, and Susan M. (Fred) Bonnell, Warson Woods; son Thomas R. (Rebecca Case) McReynolds, Richmond Heights; three grandchildren: Katie Edwards (Adam) Kopff, Webster Groves; Ted (Sara) Bonnell, Albuquerque; and Molly Bonnell, NYC; three great-grandchildren: Josephine Kopff, Thomas Bonnell, and Sophia Bonnell; six siblings: Clarice R. Woodley, Alexandria VA; Ann R. Faulk, Lausanne, Switzerland; Orrin S. Robinson, Pine Bluff, AR; John R. Robinson, Fort Worth; James E. Robinson, New Orleans; and William B. Robinson, Boston; niece Louise Gervais Russell, Shrewsbury, and 26 other nieces and nephews; great-nephew Michael (Dawn) Sherrill, Maplewood; great-nieces Lara Sherrill (Kathy Hodgson), Webster Groves, and Suzanne Sherrill (Brian) Doeren, Yucaipa CA, plus more than two-dozen great-nieces and great-nephews.

Lucy's interests and activities were many and varied, including music, cooking/ entertaining, floating, fishing, duplicate bridge, traveling, genealogy, crossword puzzles, trains, reading, geography, gardening, sewing, Scotland, and the St. Louis Needlework Guild. Throughout her life, she delighted in being surrounded by her large family and many friends. Lucy was a bookkeeper by training, a skill she used for many years as a volunteer with the St. Louis Symphony Society, the Missouri Historical Society, and the Society for Mayflower Descendants, as well as for operating the real estate appraisal firm her husband founded in 1956. When she retired in 2001 at the age of 89, she was still actively involved with Emmanuel Episcopal Church, as well as the Mayflower Society, the Society of New England Women, and several other genealogical organizations.

Services:A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, #9 South Bompart, Webster Groves. Immediately following the service, Lucy's family will receive friends at a reception in the church dining room. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Lucy's name to the Emmanuel Church Foundation, Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, Missouri Botanical Garden, or the Society of Mayflower Descendants.
