Mrs. Medlin

Funeral services for Mrs. Margrett Louisa Medlin, 69, of East Mountain were held Saturday afternoon at the Oak Grove Assembly of God Church.

The Rev. Jerry Shipman officiated. Burial was at Union Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Medlin died Thursday at a Longview hospital. Born in Nevada Co., Ark., she had lived in Upshur County since the age of 9.

Surviving are two sons, Barney Medlin, Gladewater, and Harvey Medlin, East Mountain; two daughters, Mrs. Cora Davis and Mrs. Mary Jo Daniel, both of East Mountain; a brother, Eavin Gammage, Glenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Lella Medlin, East Mountain, and Mrs. Evie Rhodden, Greggton; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Croley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
