Graveside services were held Sunday, December 11, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery. Dr. David Millican officiated. Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home of McComb was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Don Honea, Wayne Honea, Richard O'Bannon and Dan Hall.
Ms Rogers passed away Friday, December 9, 2011, at her residence.
Born January 30, 1926, in Amite County, Ms Rogers was the daughter of Hollis S. and Dorothy Longmire Crum, both deceased.
Ms Rogers was a member of Glading Baptist Church. She enjoyed mission work, baking pecan pies and taking care of animals.
In addition to her parents, Ms Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony A. Rogers; and two sisters, Camille Crum Honea and Jerilyn Hall.
Ms Rogers leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Bobby Torbert of Greenwood, Louisiana; two sisters, Elaine Rose of Ocean Springs and Jo Evelyn Bozung of Tacoma, Washington; one granddaughter, Marie Torbert Palmer and husband Mike of Washington, North Carolina; four great-grandchildren, Heather, Michael, Kimberly and Ryan Beddard; one step-great-grandchild, Jersie Jernigan; four great-great-grandchildren, Destiny Ellis, Trenten Tibbitt, McKenzie Horn and Ryleigh Beddard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
