Funeral services for Margie Fausphoul Lamartiniere will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2010, in the Chapel of White Oaks of Alexandria with the Brother Andy Frost officiating. Committal services will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park of Pineville under the guidance of White Oaks, Alexandria.
Margie, 80, of Pollock, entered eternal rest Saturday, April 10, 2010 in the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She was born September 12, 1929 in Deville to the union of Alonzo and Janie Miller Fausphoul. She was retired from A&P Grocery in the Deli Department after 20 years of service, Shipley Donuts for several years and in the late 60's and 70's as a midwife. Ms. Lamartiniere loved her many years of public service, she made life long friends along her journey, her, generosity to others was her calling. She also was a loving mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother, great - grandmother, great - great - grandmother.
Her parents, Alonzo and Janie Fausphoul precedes her in death.
She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, four sons, Scotty Lamartiniere and wife Linda of Shreveport, David Lamartiniere and wife Johnna of Poland, Floyd Lamartiniere and wife Revelea of Baton Rouge and Laniel Lamartiniere and Sharon of St. Augustine, Florida; four sisters; one brother; eighteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call today from 4 till 9 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service in the White Oaks Funeral Home.
