Jarreau, Margie Lasyone

Margie Lasyone Jarreau died at her home in Zachary at 5:40 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, 2006. She was 77 years old and a native of Winnfield. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, on Sunday, Dec. 3, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting will continue at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Carl Lanclos. Graveside service will be at Dry Prong Cemetery in Dry Prong on Monday at 2 p.m.

She is survived by a daughter, Joy Maxine McKay of Texas; two sons, Dale Dean Lasyone of Pride and Johnny Finley of Oak Grove; a sister, Bobby Ruth Downs of Monroe; a brother, Occie N. Lasyone of Zachary; grandchildren, Gordon D. Parlor, Shawn Lasyone, Tami Lasyone, Joshua D. Finley, Jason P. Finley, Jeremiah D. Finley, Pam Stafford, Alisa Moore, Sharon Neathery, Angela Carnahan and Jolandea Hemphill. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rene Jarreau; daughter, Gloria Neal McKay; parents, Douglas Finley and Lessie Louise Lasyone Finley; and a brother, ``Uncle Otto'' Lasyone.

Pallbearers will be David Bailey, Bobby Lasyone, Russell Lasyone, Cassen Lasyone, Jason Lasyone, Mike Carnahan and Jared Lasyone.
