Celebration of life service for Margie Faye Wilson will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 10:00 am. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Margie Wilson, 67, passed away in Haughton, LA on April 12, 2010. She was born on August 6, 1942 in Monroe, LA. Margie was a member of Bellevue Road Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school, worshiped by playing piano, and served on several committees. Her passion was studying the Word and walking with the Lord. Her testimony was that she was serving Him, when she was called home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who took great joy in children.
Margie is preceded in death by her [foster] parents Ermon and Ola Riley. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Tendal Wayne Wilson, brother, Buddy Johnston, sons, Tendal Shannon Wilson and wife Amy Seabrook Wilson, and Tendal Chad Wilson, grandchildren Brittany Rihana and Hannah Elizabeth Wilson, great-grandchildren Ryan Heath and Jordyn Leah Wilson, and niece Paige Wheeler Daily.
