Margie C. Cloy
Margie Irene Coleman Cloy, 80, of Natchez, died of heart failure Feb. 27, 2000, at her residence.
Visitation continues today at Bunkley Baptist Church, until services there at 2 p.m. The Rev. Kenny Wilson and John Mosley will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home of Meadville is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cloy was born April 5, 1919, in Waterproof, La. She was the daughter of Solomon Coleman and Sarah Freeman Coleman.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bunkley Baptist Church of Franklin County.
Mrs. Cloy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hollis Cloy Sr.; two sons, Thomas Cloy and Linfield Cloy Sr.; one brother and one sister.
Survivors include four sons, Hollis Cloy Jr. of Natchez, Edgar Ray Cloy Sr. of Roxie, Creighton Cloy of Vicksburg and Jesse Cloy of Port Gibson; two brothers, Homer Coleman of Smithdale and Oliver Coleman of Gloster; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Maer Nell Dunn Cloy Bowlin; special friends, Catherine Bowman, Mrs. Martin, and John and Betty Mosley, all of Natchez; and other special friends at Jeffersonian Apartments in Natchez.
