Funeral services celebrating the life of Margie Ruth Robertson will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014, in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with Pastor James Greer officiating. Interment will be in Robertson Family Cemetery, Ball.

Mrs. Robertson, 76, of Pineville, passed from this life Monday, August 18, 2014, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.

Welcoming her in Heaven are her husband, Alton; her grandsons, Brandon Ryland and Donnie Parker; her parents, Mary and Aulcy, and her brothers, Gary, Edward, Jimmy and Lavelle Hawthorne.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother cherishing all time spent with her family. She was a member of Journey Church, Pineville. Having retired after 33 years of service with Rapides Bank, she was actively serving as a bookkeeper at Adler and Pias.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Jenice Ryland and her husband, Randy; a son, Michael Lofton; special children, Kenneth and Tyan McNeely; step-daughter, Beverly Lang and her husband, Keith; brothers, Sherwood Hawthorne (Wanda), and Danny Hawthorne (Meda); sister, Faye Hood (Jimmie); grandchildren, Danielle Broussard, Andria Fontenot (Matthew), Eric Ryland (Courtney), Justin Ryland (Mikaela), Amanda McNeely and Kyler McNeely; great grandchildren, Zoe & Dylan Broussard, Ella & Drew Fontenot, Jayden & Nathan Ryland and Addy Grace Ryland; her loving and loyal 4-legged companion, Angel and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Matthew Fontenot, Eric Ryland, Justin Ryland, Kevin Hood, Keith Hood and Graham Kelly.

The family asks that friends call after 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014, and continue Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
