Marie Alma Pratt McDonald Overstreet
Marie Alma Pratt McDonald Overstreet, 88, of Strong, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at Oak Ridge Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 8, 1916, in Caledonia, she was the daughter of John Henry and Betty Jean Abercrombie Pratt. She was a member of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Leonard McDonald and Jewel Overstreet; a daughter, Betty Marie McDonald; a greatgrandson, Jeffery Scott McDonald; two sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry L. McDonald and Ronnie E. McDonald, both of Strong; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at PerryÆs Funeral Chapels in Strong with Deaton Norsworthy officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery off Iron Mountain Road under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels of Strong.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home in Strong.
