Marie C. Harris
Marie C. Harris, 94, passed away peacefully January 16, 2008, at St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center. Born October 2, 1913 to James Madison Corley, Sr. and Mary Belle Baggett Corley. She is predeceased by both parents; her husband Charles T. Harris; a brother, Thurston Lewis Corley; and a sister, Francis Garland Want.
Survivors include a brother, James Madison Corley, Jr. and his wife, Dixie Lee; and one brother-in-law, John Want, all of Hot Springs. Several nieces and nephews are left to cherish her memory.
Marie had several special caregivers, two most special were nephews Doug Eubanks and Jimmy Freeman. The family would like to thank the members of Lakewood Nursing Home and Arkansas Hospice for their kindness.
There will be a small private gathering at the graveside in Fordyce, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all memorials be sent to Red Oak Missionary Baptist Church at 107 Red Oak Drive, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
Gross Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
