Services for Mrs. Marie C. Ross, age 85, of Winnsboro will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro with Rev. Troy J. Dennard officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Cedar Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mrs. Ross was born February 28, 1920 in Winnsboro and died on May 28, 2005 after a lengthy illness. She had been a long-time resident of Winnsboro except for the last four years of long term care in Alabaster, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie L. ``Buster'' Ross.

Survivors include her son; James L. ``Jimmy'' Ross and wife, Bettie McCain Ross of Alabaster, Alabama, two grandchildren; Tim Ross and wife Denise of Tampa, Florida, Laura McIntyre and husband, Robert of Denton, Texas, two great-grandchildren; Marina Ross, and Sierra Grace McIntyre, sister; Joyce C. Fain of Winnsboro, Louisiana and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, May 30th at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
