Funeral services for Marie Fannie Hall Stafford, 87, of Monroe, LA will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 21, 2006, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Reverend Cecil Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Twin Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Stafford died February 18, 2006 in Tyler, TX at Hospice of East Texas. She resided the last three years in Oakbrook Healthcare Center, near Tyler, TX. She was a member of Sandel Drive Baptist Church, Monroe, LA.

She was born July 30, 1918, in Dodson, LA to the late Joe and Fannie Hall. She was the youngest of ten siblings. She was a lifelong housewife and was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Stafford.

Survivors include her daughter, Virginia Hatton and husband, Thomas L. of Tyler, TX; stepsons, Dave Grogan and wife, Paula of New Castle, OK, David Stafford and wife, Susan of Zachary, LA and Bobby Stafford and wife, Tammy of Jonesville, LA; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren and three sisters all of LA.

Pallbearers are David Hatton, Larry Hornsby, Dave Grogan, Scott Hatton, David and Bobby Stafford. Honorary pallbearers are Thurman Conant, Troy Woodall and Earl Knotts.

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
