Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby ``Marie'' Wheelus, age 86 of Winnsboro will be held at 10 AM Monday November 5, 2007 in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral in Winnsboro with Rev. William Busby officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery in Winnsboro. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born September 3, 1921 to Julius and Ethelene Simpson Sypert in Winnsboro and passed from this life November 3, 2007 at the Plantation Manor Nursing home in Winnsboro.

She was a retired bookkeeper at the post office. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro. She was preceded in death by her husband: W.H. Wheelus; and one son: Bob Wheelus.

Survivors include son: William Henry Wheelus, III; granddaughter: Debra Jane Chapman; and three great-granddaughters: Holly Corrine Wheelus, Lindsey Michelle Daniels, and Sarah Grace Chapman.

Pallbearers were Mike Chapman, J.W. Dean, Don Graham, Alvin Hatten, Marlin Valentine, and Mitchell Valentine.
