Marilyn Miller Emmons

EMMONS, MARILYN MILLER, Born December 1, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas. Preceded in death by her parents Lt. Gen. Troup and Julia Miller of Atlanta, Georgia. Marilyn fought a hard but short battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, James E. Emmons III of Apopka, FL and her four children, James Emmons IV, Marilyn Stallings, Michael Emmons all of Seminole County and Maj. Stephen Emmons of Valdosta, GA. Additional survivors include her sisters Judy Tobin of Washington D.C., Katherine Wallace of Hilton Head, SC, and eleven grandchildren.

Marilyn attended high school at The School at Burtonwood in London, England and also attended the University of Tennessee where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority. She was a member of the Wekiva Presbyterian Church and active homemaker. There will be a private viewing for close friends and family on Monday, September 24, 2007 from 5-8PM at Loomis Family Funeral Home Chapel, 420 West Main Street, Apopka.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 11AM at Wekiva Presbyterian Church, Longwood. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
